Collection: Coffee

Seventy-two coffees, and for most of them we can tell you the cooperative, the altitude and how the cherry was processed.

That should be unremarkable. It isn't. Most coffee sold online gives you a country and a roast level and stops — usually because the seller genuinely doesn't know any more than that, and nothing in the supply chain is built to tell them.

We went and found out. Those four facts — cooperative, altitude, varietal, process — determine what ends up in your cup far more than the word printed on the front of the bag.

Everything is roasted and ground to order. We hold no pre-roasted inventory. Your order is what starts the roast, and it ships within 48 hours. A short wait at the front end, in exchange for coffee that has never sat in a warehouse going stale.

Where to start

Single Origin — seventeen coffees from named cooperatives across Africa, Asia and the Americas. Start here if you want to taste where coffee actually comes from.

Blends — nineteen multi-origin roasts built to do what no single farm can. Start here if you want consistency, or if you're pulling espresso.

Flavored — fifteen coffees flavoured with natural oils during the roast, so the flavour bonds into the bean rather than sitting on the outside of it.

Dark Roast — six, arranged lightest to darkest. Lower in acidity, which is why plenty of people who say coffee doesn't agree with them can drink these quite happily.

High Caffeine — three Robusta blends, carrying roughly double the caffeine of straight Arabica.

Cold Brew — two blended for cold extraction specifically, rather than adapted to it after the fact.

Beyond those six you'll also find decaf done by the Swiss Water Process, instant, pods and capsules, and sample packs for working out what you like before committing to a full bag.

Not sure which roast you want?

Start with the roast guide — about four minutes, and it settles the light-versus-dark question properly rather than repeating the usual myths.
