Collection: Dark Roast Coffee

Five dark roasts, and they are not the same coffee.

"Dark roast" gets used as though it means one thing. It doesn't. There's a real difference between a dark roast that keeps its sweetness and one that's been taken all the way past origin character into pure roast flavor — and both are legitimate, depending on what you want.

Here's how ours line up, lightest to darkest:

Cowboy Blend mixes dark and medium roasted beans in the same bag, so you get cocoa depth alongside caramel and vanilla sweetness. Bold, but not a full dark roast.

French Roast is a proper dark roast of Central American coffee — smoky and low in acidity, with enough underlying sweetness that it stays rich rather than turning to ash.

6 Bean Blend takes six origins to a dark roast built for espresso. Deep and sweet, and it holds together behind milk.

Italian Roast Robusta is our darkest, slow roasted so it comes out intense rather than scorched, with Robusta for body, crema and caffeine.

Italian Roast Deep Dive is extra dark and oily, with acidity gone and origin character deliberately roasted out. If you grew up on this, nothing lighter tastes like coffee.

One thing worth knowing: dark roasts are lower in acidity, which makes them easier on the stomach than lighter roasts. It's why plenty of people who say they can't drink coffee can drink these.
