Roast: Medium | Region: Piura and Amazonas, Peru | Pack: 12 pods
Cup: Salted caramel, silky sweetness, citrus
Single origin coffee in a pod, from a named cooperative you can look up.
This comes from Cooperativa Agrícola de Servicios Norandino, in the northern Peruvian regions of Piura and Amazonas — one of the larger farmer cooperatives in the country, working with smallholders across a wide stretch of the northern Andes.
Grown between 1,100 and 1,700 metres in clay mineral soil, fully washed and dried in the sun. The varietals run wide: Caturra, Bourbon, Catuai, Pache and Catimor.
What lands in the cup is the sweetest coffee we put in a pod — salted caramel up front, a genuinely silky body, and citrus keeping the finish bright rather than heavy.
If you want Peruvian coffee by the bag, our Peru single origin is a different lot from the El Palto cooperative in Amazonas — cleaner and more lemony, less caramel. Both good, not the same cup.
Pairs with: the second coffee of the morning, when the first one has done its job.
