Kopi Safari — Post-Roast Blend, Bright and Deep

Kopi is coffee across much of Southeast Asia. Safari is Swahili for journey. The name goes two directions on purpose.

This is a post-roast blend — the coffees are roasted separately, each to the profile that suits it, and only then combined. It's more work than blending green and roasting once, and it's the reason the two halves of this cup stay distinct instead of averaging each other out.

What you get is lively and grounding at the same time: brightness on the front of the palate, depth sitting underneath it, and a harmony between them that most blends flatten out in the roaster.

Brew it: pour-over to favour the brightness, French press to favour the depth. Both are the coffee doing what it was built for.
