Caffeine-Free Tea

Three teas with no caffeine in them at all — not decaffeinated, just never had any.

That distinction matters. Decaffeinated tea has been through a process to strip the caffeine out, and a small amount always remains. These are herbal infusions: rooibos, hibiscus, rosehips, fruit and flowers. There was never any caffeine there to remove.

Which makes them the ones to reach for after dinner, late in the evening, or any time you want the ritual of a hot cup without lying awake at two in the morning thinking about it.

Apple Cider Rooibos — South African red bush with cinnamon, orange peel and natural spices. Warm and a little spiced. Tastes like autumn.

Hibiscus Berry — organic hibiscus, rosehips, orange peel and rooibos with blueberry, passionfruit and mango. Deep red, properly sweet, outstanding iced.

Peach Paradise — peach, sour cranberry and rose. Fruity and aromatic, with the rose giving it a finish most fruit teas don't have.

All three are loose leaf, all three are nearly impossible to over-steep, and all three are good hot or cold.
